What a arrogant comment. You don't know what kind of haircut I get. Yea, if I just shaved my head it would be easy, but I get a haircut that works for me. I never said half of the **** you said I did. It doesn't work for me, if it works for you great. I am correct and I'm not going to say I'm not when clearly a DIY haircut doesn't work for me. Way to try to start **** for no reason. Pathetic.

Does that make sense cloneswereall? Is that clear? Understand?

I've been going to Great Clips, but now I have a few I-Cubs ticket stubs saved up for $10 Sports Clips cuts, so I will give them a shot.

Anybody know what a cut costs at Tommy's? Also, if they are still giving 20% off for mentioning CF?

I met a stylist from tommy's salon last night she was so nice. I am going there for sure for my next cut.

Another vote for Tommy's. They do a great job, the owner is super nice and she helped my out with a gift for my wife for our anniversary. (They do massages, manicures, that sort of stuff too.) And the women that work there are not hard on the eyes either.......

I'm surprised more students dont go to TSPA, or MCI, whatever its called now. Yeah the girls are in school, but a guys haircut isnt rocket science, for 7 dollars its worth it. Every now and then there are some good looking girls working there too.

Gotta give it to Tommy's. Before I left Ames, I didn't trust my haircuts to anyone else. I wish I had gone there sooner since the staff was awesome and they had reasonable prices for the quality of cuts they do.

If you want only one length. Most guys have it shorter on the sides and longer on top, that would be fairly hard to blend it yourself.

Not really true. Good clippers come with guide comb attachments that make it easy to do any length you want. The professional series Oster clippers, which are among the best and used in many salons, also have a blending comb attachment to thin out any shaggy areas. I use high end Wahl clippers, also top notch, and get compliments from people on my hair cuts. It takes a few times to get the hang of it, but it's really not that difficult.

Is the cosmotology school downtown still open? I used to get my haircut there. I did have a girl accidently notch my ear one time, so be careful.
