So starting 5 (assuming Malou is in)

Morris, Long, Thomas, Burton, Malou

Next 3 in are Jackson, Babb, Lard? Wonder if Carter, J. Long, or Young can grab some minutes as well. Feel like there is a redshirt in there somewhere.

You forgot Bowie. I think Young will get minutes.

Big Fan of Cook's game and thought he'd be a big impact when he signed. Sorry to see him leave.
I understand it ends up being a numbers game and he is likely going to get lost in limited mintues. Too bad he'll lose a year to play one but, in he will get an opportunity to shine his senior year if he finds the right situation.

Good Luck Hallice!

Young, Lard, Carter and Ernst (assuming they all are around in the fall) all have a massive opportunity in front of them. Even if Malou is here, there isn't a single true post player in the current projected rotation. I'd love to see one of them step up and play the Khadeem Lattin role for 20 minutes a game. We don't need them to be world beaters, but they'll get their fair share of easy dunks with Monte running the show.

I was a fan of Cooke's game as well. I think he was in a similar boat to Naz where he was still recovering from his own double hip surgeries. His surgeries and hip situation were more severe if I remember correctly. It's too bad, but not unexpected.

Well now it's apparent that the bigs we are chasing in the grad transfer market are due to the questions surrounding Malou. Otherwise we are set for our 13.

I wouldn't be surprised if another player transfers out as well.

People are so quick to forget that he had the same surgery as Naz did last year. Naz was having such a hard time that he shut it down. Hard to think that Hallice was 100% this season, but couldn't take the Naz route because he had already redshirted.
I'm bummed that he is leaving. I thought he would be good next year.

This is mainly a head scratcher for eligibility reasons. We're pretty loaded at the guard spots next year, so not shocking in that regard.
