Feel like it's worth wondering since we haven't been mentioned as deep on any guards since Williams, haven't been pursuing that many guards anyhow, and only one of them looks like a high level shooter(Michael Jones).

Sure, we could know something on AJ Green and that's why, but he's gonna get some NIL stuff and we can't even pay to keep guys who like being here right now.
Give it just a bit, then if we don’t like the lineup we let the coaches work these freshman. Prohm was a mess from the moment he got here we just didn’t see it until Monte Matt and naz were gone but saw their ceiling lowered because Prohm was not a great coach. I’d rather see TJ take the guys that committed to him and coach them up and trust that. Sure Tyrese leaving is a huge deal but TJ saved that situation and this is rare imo…but pollard will have to do something

Guessing we'll see our name mentioned on a couple PGs this week.

One would hope.

We may not have 200k, although we could, but we do have a ton to sell.

There aren’t many starting P6 pg roles open, and the last guy, a 6’0” freshman that couldn’t shoot and sometimes finish, turned this one into a payday.

We’ll get someone imo, it just would have helped if Hunter had put himself on the market 3 weeks ago.

Nijal Pack, KSt
Jahmir Young, Charlotte
Terry Roberts, Bradley
Dae Dae Grant, Miami OH
Ta'lon Cooper, Morehead St

Likely too far behind on any of these, but Iowa St did contact Ta'lon Cooper when he first entered the portal.

The good thing about Green is one of our coaches really knows what’s up with him.

His waiver was denied

Curious regarding the timing of when his waiver to play fall 2022 was denied. Was it last month or right after he transferred?

I believe there are something like 1,300 basketball players in the portal and I bet at least 10% were in the portal last spring. If guys like Tyler Harris, Blake Hinson, David Jenkins, etc. etc. are immediately eligible- then there is no way I can see the NCAA justifying Tre King not being eligible this fall.

If he isn't eligible immediately not the worst thing. Gives some transfers and young players extended PT until after finals.

Is Pack still in the portal? He'd be an upgrade short term.

All we need is a knowledgeable person like yourself to get the NIL deal going.

There’s the Nevada pg transfer too. SMU Kendrick Davis if we’re swinging with bluebloods

We’re likely very behind. Imo a lot of transfers are guys that have been lined up well before they hit. I doubt we’ve been working channels for a pg.

VCU transfer Hason Ward (@HasonWard) has heard from West Virginia, Georgia, Washington State, Siena, Oklahoma, Buffalo, Illinois, Iowa State, Utah State, Pittsburgh, and Arizona State, i'm told.

Ward averaged 6.5 points and 4.8 rebounds.
Wow! The stats aren’t impressive, but the list of suitors is - if true.
