On Monday, I wrote the following piece about an event for the St. Baldrick's Foundation that I am participating (I am shaving my head) in on Saturday night in Bondurant.

What I'm asking for is one dollar from every person on this website. Just one dollar. We have tens of thousands of people who log onto CF every single day. So far, your response to this has been amazing. Your generosity has blown me away but at the same time, I know that we can do better.

My initial goal was to raise $5000. We did that in 12 hours. Now, we're up to just over $8500. We can to get to 10 by tomorrow night! Remember that whatever is donated (up to 50 K) is being matched by the Lohse Family Foundation.

If you haven't donated yet and you are able to, please help out. It is a great cause and it is very easy to do. Here's the direct link.
