Just realized 4 of our last 5 games are in Ames, and the one road game is Lawrence. The whole playing 2 of our first 3 and 4 of our first 7 on the road could pay off if we can win this one or next week.

The unfortunate thing about our home games this year is the same every year! 2 games is September and 2 in October. So basically 4 times we can tailgate with the Thursday game in November you really cant enjoy it like a Saturday and the last 2 games of the year bring your overalls! Tailgating is usually the only thing I look forward to but more and more our home games get pushed back to the end of the season.
I like true Cyclone fans with their priorities set straight.... WINNER

You play 7 at home, 5 on the road. The order doesn't matter.

Honestly, yes, it does.

Being able to get some momentum with the home advantage does make a difference.

Bigger than that, having more home games early on is important to us, specifically. Lets face it, we're historically terrible. This program doesnt deserve the attendance it gets. It gets it because of the tailgating, which is hurt when a bunch of your home games are backloaded in november. Less tailgating, less fans in the stands because fewer people want to stand in frozen stands for a mediocre-at-best team in november.
