Here is my writeup on Baylor's 247 site on the game this weekend.

I absolutely do not see a blow out in this game. We don't have the offense for that. Hate to say it but if a blowout does happen (probably wont) it will be in Baylor's favor.

I agree with you. Long heaves into the netherland were not productive for SJ. How many bombs has he connected on; I do not remember much.

He had the underthrown flea flicker against us last year and a long pass up the left sideline as well in Waco last year. Both were to Reynolds who may be the WR most missed by his team despite Wright & Blackmon being first rounders.

Lenz has helped both Jantz and Barnett by running under the balls that they have thrown behind the coverage.

I agree with above...if its a blowout we're knott in a good position to win. A defense which got shredded through the air last week is now going against an offense with even better receivers. Jansen Watson is going to get picked on again.

Enjoyed the article Sammy11 should be a fun game. Baylor has some talented receivers and if our secondary isn't spot on and heads up ISU could get down fast. 45 or more points in all your games so far but also giving up quite a few points. 70-63 West Virginia, 47-42 ULM and 56-50 at Texas. What do you think ISU will need to do to stop the offensive threat of Baylor besides not letting the Bears catch the ball :)

I think the cold weather plays a roll and it will be cold, how many Baylor guys have played in anything less than 50 degrees? They are talking windchill factors the next few days. It will be a surprise to the Texas boys.

and his analysis is exactly why I feel very uneasy about this game and every one that follows. Our offense just isn't designed to keep up with those high wire acts. Its as if defense is a thing of the past and its all about score score score.

Yeah, every game he has started he has throw the long ball to open WRs and it is to long. I think he had 5 to 7 in the iowa game.

For us, we will find out if we have a decent team and can pull through past mistakes. This is a crossroads game.

Ah thanks, will look into it.
