Something to do? I'm pretty sure you can find beer to drink in Milwaukee.
Milwaukees Best. Now I remember. Wonder if they have tours and free samples. Can you imagine what those would be like?
We have a million turkey in the metro and they would never bother. Think it's a nature needs to do it's nature thing. Did see it again yesterday afternoon crossing my street in front of the garbage truck and it did limp much faster when the truck was close.
About the only thing for rehab of birds is the UofM Raptor Center, they will rescue raptors. Two photography friends of mine took a Great Horned Owl female in last spring about this time of year when a storm of freezing rain and snow froze her wings and she couldn't get back to her nest that had to owlets in in. She was floundering around half frozen in the snow. Center unfroze her wings and returned her the next day. The little owlets had survived the storm on their own. Guess it was quite the hoot fest between the two adults owls when they brought her back. Would think the dad owl thought she was dead in the storm.
I don't think the Beast has an actual brewery. They just siphon what goes down the drain from other breweries.
And yes, I drank my share of the Beast in college.

Much long time gone I was in summer session at ISU. Buddy was renting a room in frat on Lincoln Way. The pop vending machine there had a button label "Daily Special". It was Milwaukee's Best.
