I think it was interesting looking at Thomas compared to some of the other high schoolers on that Thomas looks like a Big 12 player already, while a lot of other players need to put on some muscle

So Thomas finished 2nd - correct? I didn't get to watch, but overheard while watching Final 4.

BTW; if anybody got to watch Thomas in his final game of the Wisc High School championships, don't worry, this kid as a smooth stroke and will be a perfect fit for Fred's system.

I would be surprised if both he and Morris don't start from day 1

The more I see them, the more I agree. Now I'm just curious who the 5th starter will be alongside our two freshman guards and our two returning forwards.

Sorry but I think some people have their cardinal and gold goggles on. Frankamp had a good shot. I didn't think his "slow" release will affect him negatively. He will be a great player and we will be cursing him for 4 years! Greenes outside shot wasn't the best but he looks like he'll be a great player.

Thomas looked very solid and had a college ready body it seemed. I agree that him and Morris should be getting good minutes from day 1. Excited about those 2!

Alford's boy had a damn good shot. He was getting it off ridiculously quick and making them.

That Dennis kid going to Georgia state was a freak! Fun to watch and as someone mentioned above, looked like Tyrus. Hope he has a good overall game, he could be one of those low-mid major players that gets a lot of fans come March.

Frankamp's receding hairline gives him a middle-aged appearance that could lull defenders to sleep.

I just don't see Frankamp starting. I don't think his defense will be good enough. KU's class looks really good but the only one I see starting is Selden who looked really good in the McD's game. Will be interesting to see what Embiid does in the Jordan game, but he didn't start basketball until recently and I see him as a project.

I think Thomas starts because he has the size and body already.

I'm going to be sure to bump this thread when this '13 KU class crushes for the next year or two. I guess it drives folks crazy to project them positively - which if you look at history, is what happens.

Not saying it will happen to Frankenstein, but a lot of talent goes to Kansas and rots....
Don't really see that. KU has 7 players that were not McDonald's AA's currently playing in the NBA and 5 that were. If anything I see them being very good at developing players. This years team didn't have a single McD's player starting but yet 2 more will be in the NBA and that count will go to 9 and 5.

Looks like he's a dead eye if you leave him open. Not sure about his ability to create a shot or rise up and shoot over anyone. Looks a tad slow here, but obviously is just a 3pt competition.

Matt Thomas looking on BTW...
