I kind of wonder if he won't get in trouble from the school now to insure that nobody else tries this. He should have kept his mouth shut and not advertised to Deadspin......

It says he goes to JMU, so UVA doesn't really have any authority to punish him. I would expect there to be lanyard/badges at next year's tournament like they have to get on the field at JTS.

Reminds me of Barry Bremen, The Great Imposter. Posed as a MLB Umpire in the World Series, MLB Player in an All-Star game, NBA Player in NBA Finals, and NFL Ref, among other stints. ESPN recently did a 30 for 30 on him. Pretty Amazing.

Nicely done. Has anybody here bluffed their way someplace they shouldn't have been?
This is still probably my favorite...

I haven't needed to bluff my way into MLB and NFL clubhouses, but it is CRAZY easy if you just ACT like that's where you are supposed to be. If you walk around scared or like you don't know where you are going, people are going to ask questions. Baltimore is the ONLY stadium I have been to where they even questioned me.

The good news for him is he doesn't go to UVa so they can't do much to him as a student. I doubt they will do much to him other than a slap on the wrist and tell him to not do it again.

I didn't see that. He'll get off lucky then, but they will have to do something to restrict access next year.

A clipboard, radio and hardhat will get you into a lot of places if there is any type of construction going on.

Also, having an orange flashing light on top of your vehicle allows you to drive about anywhere, on or off road.

Or a Telco jacket. Those are like a pass to anywhere you want to go.

I just walked onto the floor of the Oklahoma game this year. Granted, I wasn't sitting court side and didn't get a tshirt and hat, buy I was surprised that I wasn't stopped or told to leave. Also, there was zero security guarding the west steps that go down to the floor. Here is a pic I snapped:

I'm a veterinarian and whenever I call in prescriptions for patients to human pharmacies you'd be surprised at how little information I have to provide.

I have a similar story while at ISU. This was back in the early 2000's when we beat Nebraska with Senenca. Does anyone remember when the security guys all wore those bright orange Per Mar coats and white hats?

Anyway, after tailgating pretty hard, I noticed one of the older security gentlemen had removed his coat and it was sitting on his chair next to one of the stadium entries. When he wasnt looking I snatched it. I threw that bad boy on and walked straight down to the field. About halfway through the first quarter the old Per Mar guy that always wore the headset that patrolled in front of the student section asked me what I was doing. I said I was keeping an eye on things. He then said they needed help on the Nebraska sidelines because the Nebraska players kept going farther then they were suppose to down the sidelines. He put me to work. For the rest of the game I ended up making sure the the NU players didnt cross a certain line. It was hilarious. It was a real riot for my friends watching in the stands.

Too funny!!!

'Bout the only thing I ever bluffed my way into was moving from the top rows of the upper deck at Jack Trice down to 5 rows above the field, southwest stairwell, at the Rolling Stones concert back in 90 or 91...the usher stopped me & my friend while his brother just kept walking down the stairs. My friend told her "HE has our tickets..." and she let us follow him.
