Don't worry everybody, the Earth will not be hit by an asteroid until the final seconds are ticking off the clock and ISU is about to win a national championship game in either football or basketball.

"Here's the snap, and Austen Arnaud Jr takes a knee. Five seconds left en route to Iowa State's first ever nat- say Bill, why is there a dark shadow spreading over the fie- BOOM!

It's my understanding that as the Cubs are about to record the final out in the clinching game of the World Series that is exactly what will happen.

Alright!! Nearly a Cyclone National title in 2012. What concerns me is what NCAA championship is played on the Winter Solstice?

The year that ISU wins a national championship and the world ends will be the same year that the NCAA decides that there are too many bowl games and moves the national championship game up to December 21st. I believe that is also the year that hell freezes over.

It is kind of encouraging to know that out of the four previously mentioned unlikely events, ISU winning a national championship is the most probable!

surprised this didn't get as much attention as it probably deserved

Chuck Norris and Bill Brasky will join forces to stop this from ever happening!

Very cool that they gave us some advanced notice!
The people searching only has a couple of days to tell us. The world has at least seven people in the world searching the skies. They might miss some of these events. Eat hearty and drink merry while Rome burns.

I really want to read this:
Reader-DeathFromTheSkies_b.jpg

Written by an astronomer, it details all the ways the universe can kill us.

I'll eventually get to reading it, my book queue is just too long right now. If anyone reads it, give me your review!
