How long would you wait before deciding that you've been stood up?

She said traffic was bad. I don't know what part of DFW she lives in so it could be a valid excuse.

Been texting a couple of weeks. But yea, first time meeting. Turning it into a game watch now.

If she answered and said traffic was bad, I would hold on for a while. If she wasn't coming you'd think she'd say she's sick or that she wasn't making it. Does seem like she is not very cognizant of time though to be that late, even with traffic.

15 to 20 mins late without a text or call is inconsiderate, especially for a first date.

She's on her way it sounds like. Take her at her word. Big city traffic is a valid excuse.

I would assume you're the 2nd option if she waited 53 minutes to tell you that. Maybe I'm cynical lol.

So she was able to respond to a text but couldn't send a "running late" text? Hit it and quit it.

At concert at MShop last night artist showed up at 10 pm, very late. But I still waited. So id say like 2 hours if its a 40 uear old man and guitar. For young girl like 15 minutes

If she can get back to you about traffic she surely could've sent a message about the traffic before the time you were even supposed to meet.

I'd bail or finish watching the ISU game.

I'd see what she orders. If it's something small or dessert then she probably had a date before yours and she's playing the field. I'd then pretend I'm going to the bathroom and bounce, leaving her with the bill (including all my drinks that I drank while waiting).

Or don't be a ****. I prefer the direct method of making her uncomfortable and asking if she already had a date?
