Maybe, I just remember hearing somewhere, maybe on the news that she got the name from high school, but now I do recall BF saying they called her that... I don't Know. I do agree on celebrating them separately, I don't know what I was thinking. :biglaugh: It would be much more exciting!

You were right, Alison was called Aus nearly as soon as she arrived in Iowa/Huxley. And, it was no coincidence Aus came to Ames. Some powers-that-be knew all along she was D-1 WBB material and her arrival was somewhat directed.

Stacy Frese wore #4 in 1996-2000. She should've had hers retired a long time ago. Can they retire two number 4's?

I have always found this peculiar. There has to be more to it than ISU wanting to retire your jersey because Frese has been passed over by two players younger than her. Stacy was a 2nd team All American. I wonder if she did not except the honor or wants to wait until she is older or something along those lines.
