How often is ISU on ESPN+?

I realize a lot of factors determine this, but if you had to take an average of how many games per season ISU plays in FB and bball on ESPN+ what would your estimate be?

I seem to remember a handful of football games but quite a few mbb games is that correct? I usually just stream games via illegal sites but it would be nice to not have to do that. I watch very little TV outside of college sports.

verizon is going door to door trying to get people to switch away from fiber. 30 day free trial and free disney+ Hulu and ESPN+. Same Price as fiber.

worth the hassle of switching?

For MBB, probably every home game against a non-con slappy (5-8), and another 4-6 in conference. Numbers may fluctuate due to how good/bad the team is perceived to be.

Plus, if you're in to WBB or the Olympic sports, pretty much all of those games.

wbb would be a nice addition. i got to watch 2 games last season on horrible streams. and unfortunately they were both losses. perhaps this woild actually allow me to be more vested in lady ball.

WBB and volleyball were my justifications. Haven't watched much volleyball the last few seasons, they haven't good or entertaining. Might be a historic year for WBB, ESPN+ will be worth it for that. Will probably get major networks or ESPN+ for all of the Big 12 games except for at Texas and at OU because they still have their own network so **** them.

Will probably reup for the two football games, eat October as a waste since there will be nothing to watch and start watching again in November and cancel again in March.

This is totally random (but also kind of related) ...

If you have an American Express Platinum card (the "vanila" consumer version at least), you get a $20 monthly credit towards the Hulu/Disney/ESPN+ bundle. That functionally brings the price to about $2 per month.

Obviously don't go out and get the card just for that reason (but if you do, send me a message so I can use my refer-a-friend link!!! )

Wait, so you are considering switching internet providers just to get a 30 day free trial of streaming services? No, I wouldn't do that. Pay for ESPN+ for the next 4 months to cover the FB and ball games then cancel until the next fall.

no, 30 days to make sure you are happy with the internet and streaming services. Disney, hulu and espn+ stay with you for the $70. without the add ons it would be a lateral move

You have fiber now, but are looking to go to wireless? I'd recommend against that. Verizon may have fast service at times, but it'll get bogged down at peak times. So even if you have ESPN+, the stream for everything else would be worse.

Also, you'd essentially be paying for ESPN+ for the entire year when you only need it for 3-4 months tops to watch ISU.

Agree with this. I would not leave a fiber service for a wireless service. Fiber is a far superior option. For the same price on either that is an easy choice. If the wireless option was quite a bit cheaper and you were a light internet user, then maybe.

They show several W Volleyball, as well.

I wasn't a huge fan of the deal when it was made and still am not, but the Disney+ package is reasonably priced and allows me a lot more access than I originally thought it would.

Bottom line, if it gives me any additional access to ISU sports, I'm in!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm anticipating there will be 1 Cyclone Big XII conference game on ESPN+ as well. I think last year we were on the + for @WVU

Possibly driving back from Denver during the game. Anyone know of a free stream or way to listen while sleeping through Nebraska?

During basketball season last year, it seemed to me that Iowa State and Kansas were on ESPN+ a lot more than any other conference teams.
I think it was because these two Big 12 teams have the largest basketball fan following and ESPN would make the most money with the Cyclones and Jayhawks paying to watch their games.

I think the Varsity Network is still streaming games. Available via app or web.

Also SXM 199.
