Possibly driving back from Denver during the game. Anyone know of a free stream or way to listen while sleeping through Nebraska?
If you haven't done this drive before, beware. Eastern colorado is somehow worse than nebraska.

You have fiber now, but are looking to go to wireless? I'd recommend against that. Verizon may have fast service at times, but it'll get bogged down at peak times. So even if you have ESPN+, the stream for everything else would be worse.

Also, you'd essentially be paying for ESPN+ for the entire year when you only need it for 3-4 months tops to watch ISU.
I am not Tech inclined. Does fiber not get bogged down like wireless services? Probably a dumb question in this day and age but I'll risk it.

Not really if the fiber is done right. They can just add more fiber lines to ease congestion. But for wireless, there's only so much wireless spectrum available. There's a point where you can't just add more when things get congested. So as more people in your area go to Verizon, they're going to hit a point where things slow down or you can't get signals at certain times of the day.

Think about how well your cell phone works when you're at a football game.

This is totally random (but also kind of related) ...

If you have an American Express Platinum card (the "vanila" consumer version at least), you get a $20 monthly credit towards the Hulu/Disney/ESPN+ bundle. That functionally brings the price to about $2 per month.

Obviously don't go out and get the card just for that reason (but if you do, send me a message so I can use my refer-a-friend link!!! )
If you have Verizon as your cell phone carrier, the 5G Get More and 5G Play More plans both have the bundle included as part of the plan.
