So looking at my sport app I hate to say i'm not sure what all the numbers mean.....

STL -130
CHC T: 7.5

I assume the T: 7.5 is for the total runs in the game.
I'm pretty sure the -130 means STL is favored (it hurts to say it but yeah I understand the cards should beat my cubs)

But what does the -130 mean exactly?
(I know some cards fans think that's how many runs they are going to score tonight....)

Thank you guys! I figured it probably wasn't too complicated, just for some reason never heard it explained.

Thanks again!

The 7.5 goes off teams average runs scored. Starting pitchers ERA's. And then they center it to draw action. Both pitchers' eras are low so they come up with probabilities based on a **** load of stuff and end up at 7.5. I'm guessing this is low tonight. I'd take the over on this one.

Hell now I'm confused- I thought the STL -130 meant you're putting $100 at risk to win $30.
