My new starting line-up:

DG
CC
MG
CB
LD

I'd agree with Ham instead of Dendy. For ever great offensive play he makes, he makes 2 bone headed defensive ones, and he's going to get the hack-a-Dendy treatment.

If Scotty was sick tonight, as pointed out by NickC poster, then I'm willing to hold off delaying CC's starting role.

However, if CC continues to bring this attitude, energy and effort, than I have no problem giving him a 1-game starting nod, to let him know effort and a give-a-damn attitude is rewarded + give him something to look forward for next year.

PS; anybody surprised at that 63-46 win by Neb over Oklahoma? Just our luck we catch a team 1-game too late.

Not really. Oklahoma literally flew in this afternoon due to the weather and turned around and played. That's not exactly easy to do.

To me this is easy. Two of our starting 5 had their worst game(s) of their year. In a 8 man rotation that's tough to come by. But we still won. I agree with Colvin getting the starting nod over SC now. I think it'd be better for both at this point. SC seems to have a knack for getting the second wind started off of the bench. I'll still take this team on the road this week if both SC and Quez can play like we know they can along with the others reaching their potential too!

On this board the spotlight always seems to fall on the Coaches...

Let's put a Ball in the Gym, Have both Teams choose their own line-ups, subs, call your own fouls....

Who wins...?

I've been saying it all season and will say it again. Ham needs to get more shots. Use Craig away from the post to draw double teams out to him and feed the ball into Ham. I really think we need to use Craig more as a distributor than a shooter. We've always talked about how losing JVB hurts because it doesn't stretch the defensive post players to open up the paint for Craig. I say use Craig in the role we were going to use JVB and have him either shoot the three(which he's good at) or get it into our post players through him. Might as well because our guards can't seem to get it in there. Also, I hope this game has finally got it into our teams head on how important rebounding and free throw shooting is 8% from the three and 21 turnovers and we still win because we doubled them up on the boards. It's about time.

I forgot about that. Didn't OSU have that scenario for their game at Missouri today?

Not sure...although since Oklahoma State and Missouri played this afternoon, I doubt Oklahoma State flew in this afternoon.

I think it had to have something to do with defense or rebounding on the next possession, or maybe he said something. Wow Mac was mad, right in his face, thought he wanted to fight him.

Mac said on the post game show, it was about not rolling to the right spot from a screen. He also got in Colvins face a little about it too. Dendy was mad but Colvin went to him and calmed him down and explained what Mac was saying. Mac said he was pretty impressed with Colvin and tonight was the game he really grew.

No. He's gotten worse as the season has gone on from downtown. His 3 point percentage has been falling since the Houston game. He's 4 his last 22. That is far from good.

I'm confused by the title of this thread. Huge win? Shouldn't it be more like grasping for air win? This was a home game against a lower half Big 12 team. Barely win by by 1 after giving all involved a cardiac moment with a poor inbound pass???

I had hopes until the Northwestern loss. After which everyone said "oh but Northestern is a good team". Now Northwetern is 9th in the Little 11. And sometimes scrappy performances at lower Big 12 teams like TX Tech and OK show us the coach hasn't lost his team, but still, it doesn't give us much promise. We needed at least 2 of the Northwestern, UNI, Tech, OK games to make the NIT.

Big picture is we fired a great coach that had some personal problems but should have been given a leave of absence instead of **** canning, made a bad choice and replaced him with the guy that was really the talent getter and shoulder to cry on instead of a head coach, who we then fired after two post season performances, no post season performances since, and now are faced with firing one of the best personalities this program has seen. Why? Because of bad decisions before he even got here (but he really hasn't help himself too much).

It is time we really need to examine the overall perception and culture of our program and what we can each do to help get us back on track. My personal opinion firing is usually like a reset button that sets you back more than you realize. Will our third firing in 10 years help us reach our goals? I really don't know yet......but this isn't working.

It wasn't a good looking win, but we turned it over like 20+ times, but outrebounded them by 26. We made FTs, but went 1-11 on 3s.

Listen CU has these losses:
only 4 to Gonzaga,
OT loss to AZ,
6 vs. KSU,
12 at OK St
4 at TAMU.

They had some bad losses as well, but you are fooling yourself to think CU is terrible. Granted they were missing their stud freshman.

Sure, we all expected a double-digit win, but it is what it is.

This was a game where we really missed Lucca. He could have shot them right out of their zone.

I haven't paid much attention to the national stats, but I was surprised when the announcer said we were 2nd, or 3rd in 3-pt FG%. I imagine that's gonna drop like a rock from here till the end of the season.
