I had the pleasure of mingling with many of the Alabama fans after the Independence Bowl game in Shreveport. As I sat at a card table at the Horseshoe I sat next to a Tide fan who said to me "Let me buy you a drink to congratulate you on the game you won." I got the point, and really appreciated his gesture. He introduced me to some of his friends and fellow fans and I gained an enormous appreciation for them. The developments here with the betrayal of Chizik, and your insightful comments have only strengthened my opinion.
