Surprise how much people are ripping a fellow cyclone asking for a favor.

I can vouch for York being a good guy. I used to live next door to him on Clark Ave in Ames, not sure if he remembers that.
My guess is bottomline we do not have very many alums in the Morgantown area.

Three hours? It's 131 miles and all interstate. I'm driving home after the game and I live near DC. That will be a three hour drive.

You made me panic for a moment - had to double check that this wasn't written by my son also a resident of DC

i'm not surprised at all. A large number of CFers are scoffers who enjoy ridicule more than anything else. Hence the preference to see a person in the worst light possible.

yes, i vaguely do. those were some good times. we used to jovially refer to you guys as the keg groupies because you would come to our parties and hang out bay the keg all night pouring for people.

to others, no longer looking for a place to stay, just looking to carpool with some people from DC if there are any out there. otherwise, i'll just drive all by my lonesome there and back.

thanks to those who actually gave serious responses.
