I only have two problems and both are easily fixed

If those bad selected shots fall, are they still a bad shot to take? This team had done those two things all season, tonight they faced a better team and it bit them in the ***.

Yes. They are. You always miss more of those than you make over time. At the very least, we win both games against MU and the OSU game if we cut out the careless turnovers and questionable shots...IMO.

Agreed but this team has won 21 games playing the same style of ball. They have been careless with the ball and taken bad shots all season. That is who they are. If you change that maybe they lost 4 more games.

Obviously you think you could...

Man you really must hate this guy. Your signature is really not that funny. The post was in the form of a question. I believe he made some great points, better to say what you believe then to say nothing at all.

I'd put money on being less careless with the ball, better-shot selection, and better defense leading to more wins, not less.

Who am I to second-guess Fred on who plays and who doesn't? Ejim had 13 boards and played great on the defensive end. He might be our MVP right now, IMO. Are you going to sit your best scoring threat (SC) over the last month? Tyrus was 1-4 playing 12 minutes for three points. I really didn't have a problem with Royce's touches in the second half either. I thought the effort was fine...minus the mental mistakes...which plague this team every game.

Ejim might be our MVP? Ummmm there is a guy his name is slipping my mind, wears number 30, anyway I think he is our MVP, but maybe that is me.

Why do you assume that Tyrus could only play for Scotty? I would have put Tyrus out there for Allen, at least this game. And Booker was more effective min for min than Ejim.

3. McGee only played 12 minutes.Unless he was hurt, there's no reason he shouldn't have played more.

Agreed, not sure why Bubu played so much but right now he is not bringing much to the table. He drove in out of control multiple times and got blown up on defense.

Maybe the dont push it as much or take as many passes that lead to points if they pull back the reins a little.

There is only one thing to fix. Score more points than the other team and everything else will be fine.

MU is a great example of a freewheeling, freelancing, team that takes care of the basketball and makes good decisions in their offense. They are one of the best teams in CBB in terms of points per possession. It's something ridiculous like 1.5 points per. In fact I think they might be the best team. That speaks to two things...low turnover rate and great shot selection. They get up and down the floor and take a ton of threes...just like us. This Missouri team should actually be the blueprint for us...as difficult as that is to say.

So you have a problem with our 15 turnovers, but Mizzous 12 lands them in the category of a team that takes care of the ball? Wow great analysis

You didn't have a problem with the lack of mins Tyrus and Booker played?

You didn't have a problem with the fact that Royce didn't touch it, almost at all, in the final 10 mins?

I tell you what, this is the type of effort that gets you beat and leaves you scratching your head as you exit the NCAA tourney! There are some positives to take away from this game, but there are some areas of concern as well.

I can tell you were screaming when you were typing this in? Am I right?

Pukebox- Words of wisdom from RollsRoyce. You spend way to much time on this site. I have been picking up the slack your wife has been suffering from for years. You need to take a one week break from this site and attend to your significant other.

Lol...touche. Aside from number 30. Ejim has had a huge part in our turnaround. I like Booker too. It's something you deal with with a roster this deep.

I was surprised that Bubu played as much as he did. I said a week ago I was concerned with how the minutes would shake out with him back in the rotation. Who knows. Maybe if Tyrus plays 28 minutes rather than 12 he still ends up 3-13 from the floor vs. the 1-4. Bubu did hit a big three. Allen sat out half the game.

I really can't complain about the minutes. Shooting under 40% against the worst defensive FG% team in the B12 was a huge disappointment.

That's at least six points, the difference in the game, you moron. I also don't remember Missouri throwing the ball out of bounds with no defender around. Or throwing passes at someone's feet. Those are the turnovers I'm talking about. They also shot 55% vs. 39% for us. Did you even watch the game or are you just ignorant?
