Johnny Majors coached at Iowa State from 1968 to 1972, left for Pitt and won a title with Tony Dorsett in 1976. Gene C leaves Iowa State for Auburn and....... ISU a coaching dynasty.....

If want to be real technical, Mac Brown, Pete Carroll, and Jimmy Johnson were all coaches here too (assistant coaches), but won national titles also.....

ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND TIMES TWO. PAY IT TO THE KID'S DAD INSTEAD OF HIS HIGH SCHOOL COACH AND COMPLETELY AVOID REPERCUSSIONS FROM THE NCAA.
