If you consider getting wisdom teeth removed, then that's my history of surgery. The drugs they used to put me under knocked me right out and were great when I came back, and the drugs they gave me for the pain were good too

One knee scoped twice and the other once while at ISU. Was good for years until 43-44 then got a double discectomy on my L4 & L5. Will need another at some point on L6. Need rotater cuff surgery soon too. Overall, I've been pretty fortunate considering how badly my body has been abused over the years.

Prayers for CFH.

Broken leg/ankle (foot was not connected to my leg anymore). Plate and 10 screws. Happened the day of the 3OT, Steele Jantz game. Watched the second half and OTs from the ER at Mary Greeley. While the game was great and the weather was perfect, that was the day when being stupid was no longer fun. I haven't been the same since.

I had my wisdom teeth out with just novocaine. Didn't know being put out was an option

It was great. They put a needle in my arm, then asked me if I was getting tired, I said I was getting a little tired and then the next thing I remember was waking up

Three hernia surgeries. First was six days in the hospital, second was three days, third was three hours outpatient.

Aortic root graft (Dacron, i believe) with native aortic valve repair at Mayo two days after 9/11. I was in the cardiologist's office when the first tower fell. A week I'll probably never forget.
