I wonder how many fan bases would have 548 posts over a 4 month period just agonizing over whether a transfer player will get his waiver? Are we fanatics, or what? (I haven't looked but I figure there has to be at least 75 posts in here from Hawk fans because they can never let us discuss anything without their input! )

Nah. In May 2020 his waiver will be approved and 2019 will count against the 4-year clock.
