That was the biggest non-Snyder coached win for K-State ever. If Kleiman can keep them focused, they have a chance to win the Big12 & a sliver shot at the CFP. Going back to the Big 8 & Big 12 North days, I have always pulled for K State. KU and Mizzou are generally full of themselves similar to Hawkeyes and K State has had the same path to follow as ISU. In our corner of the state K State gets a share of students, not much different driving to Manhattan or Ames. We’re not going anywhere this year so Go Cats!
I'm not really wanting to root for K-State, generally, but agree with some of your sentiment. K-State is a good conference member, and in many ways is similar to ISU.

I will more likely root for K-State, OSU, TT, TCU to do well for the Big 12, if they wind up on top. I'd still root for KU and WV, if they were on top, but with less vigor. I no longer root for OuT, in any way, anymore.

K-State's Iowa players this year are from Hawkeye country. One is from Waterloo and the other from Iowa City.

Sometimes the other team is just better that night. K-State couldn't stop Robinson the first half. He was an absolute load and settled the DeJuan v. Deuce argument in my mind.

State didn't adjust until halftime and by then it was too late. Adrian had a N-like mercurial game, looking splendid and then on some critical plays just bad.

Hate losing to them (again). But ten wins, championship game, and good bowl still in reach.
