I watch professional video gaming (League of Legends NA LCS) and an audience member just proposed on stage to his lady. Nothing special just seemed weird! Anyone have any other interesting marriage proposal stories?

Don't hate on my nerdiness you know you are jealous!

I proposed to my now wife during a horse carriage ride in Chicago. Carriage stopped at a park, got down on one knee, asked. Then we looked over and there was a homeless guy sleeping on the bench 5 feet away.

My husband's proposal indirectly involved the Ames dress dude, on a similar note.

We were eating at Lucullan's (back when it was good) for our anniversary. Janny was acting a tiny bit nervous, which isn't like him. We got outside after and he started to suggest sitting at the little park there, but the dress guy was there dressed as a nun.

We got in the car, and drove by Tradewinds, which is where a good buddy had introduced us. It had burnt quite a bit in a fire two nights before, which I am glad he didn't take as an omen.

We went to Bandshell Park, and he offered to push me on the swing. I thought he was just being whimsical, so I agreed. He gave me a few good pushes, then walked around in front of me. He let my legs swing into his junk, then dropped to the ground like I had racked him. I hopped off the swing to make sure he was okay... At which point he brought up one leg so he was on one knee, and then proposed.

I assume marrying me is like a kick in the nuts.
