Just win baby.

You can tell that #16 has "IT", which is the #1 need for the QB spot. His shiftiness (not sure actually how fast he is, but who cares) and decision making are pretty darn impressive too. And, the kid is only a freshman with three starts. There's a huge upside - just think how good he'll be when he gets his accuracy ramped up. For some reason, those bubble screens are the hardest pass for him; I'm sure he can fix that. I'm sure he'll improve on the long ball too - getting a little air under it would be good. Looking forward to three more years.

Haha...Ubben jacking my stats! More power to him. Great numbers by Barnett.

Also worth noting, Iowa State has averaged 502 yards over the last three games, the best 3-game stretch in Cyclone history.

Can you imagine if Tom Herman only knew what he was doing? We would be looking at 800 per worst case.

:twitcy: If Diante Garrett was the QB and Bo Williams was the RB for Tom Herman's offense, the internetz may explode.

Can you imagine if everyone was able to only use their best three games in performance evaluations?

Even in that high-water mark for Herman's offense, it is only a modest (by modern Big 12 standards) 26 points per game in regulation. The only other schools to average less in the past three weeks were KU and TT.

I think he's actually pretty fast. On the James White touchdown run Barnett basically beats him to the endzone. I know they didn't take the same route but Barnett seemed to be coasting pretty good.

Could make QB battles interesting the next few years - better not get injured as the starter because all the backups look capable of taking your job and never letting it go. Steele would love another shot, Richardson is supposed to be the best passer of the bunch, plus a few others who will challenge.

that is also against 2 ranked teams.

(although all 3 defenses have been turrible)

Points in regulation last 3 games. 24,17, 41.

All we have to do is wait for the PPG stat to catch up to the yardage stat and we are gonna be fine. Love feeling better about this offense.

It seems an Okie State linebacker is faster than him though:twitcy:

13 against KU. But it was enough!
