Was it even a walk out song? I thought it was just what happened to be playing, something unmemorable for sure. Even the wife thought it was lame. Real letdown after being behaviorally conditioned to clap to "Let it Rock" for 5 years.

They should just steer into the whole "Prohman Legion" thing and start playing the "Are you not entertained?!" clip from Gladiator when Coach Prohm comes out.

Doesn't surprise me Prohm wants a low key entrance. He really seems to want the focus to be on the players and not him.

Everyone is all about getting rid of jock jams and smoke on the water but nobody ever has an alternative. If you are going to point out a problem, you should have a solution.

Here's two perfectly awesome solutions. We already play an awesome intro song, Joker and the Thief. Switching to Smoke on the Water just sucks the energy out of the crowd. I really noticed this last game for whatever reason. I said something to my father as we walked in about how it sucked, he agreed and is a huge Deep Purple fan.

As far as Jock Jams goes, you could play Justin Beiber and it would be better. How about playing a nice montage of old 90's gangster rap beats minus the lyrics? Get those old white people all hot and bothered while finally letting the kids have something they would enjoy.
