When I read the OP I thought the same thing. I could see 84 being closer than people think. Lofthouses have a tendency to disappoint.

And this Iowa fan is thrilled he lives in central Iowa and gets CycloneTV.

At least Ethen isn't as disappointing as Luke was, but Luke was never ranked #2. There are a bunch of question marks with Beard (due to his time off) is he going to be able to go hard for 7 minutes versus a highly ranked guy from a rival school right away? If it were up to me, I'd hold off and send Weatherspoon out there for this one.

The dual score is going to look ugly for ISU

I hate to be that guy, but team score isn't always indicative of individual match results.

For example, in 2006, Iowa won 24-6. Total *** kicking, right? Iowa won 8 of 10 matches, but the margins were: 2 (SV), 3, 2, 1, 1, 5, 3, and 1.

I think that is exactly what he was referring to. The dual score isn't going to look much better than the last two years. But the matches are.

I'll one up you. Dual scores are hardly ever indicative of how a dual goes. I really hope you responded to that post before you read the one I posted about just this immediately afterward. Like I said, I almost hate dual scores anymore because they're garbage (as are dual records in a lot of ways).

Wow Judoka I normally agree with you on most everything in Iowa State Wrestling, but you are out of you mind if you think it's going to take 10 seconds more like the starting lineup :biglaugh:
