The Winterset Metroplex
The Alamo is a 6th grade lesson. It's near the end of their formal studies.

Sixth grade is their formal test on The Alamo. Before that its just another part of the curriculum.

You're probably thinking about that 6th grade test because of the consequences of failure. If a kid can't pass that test on three tries, all his classmates give him a "Full Metal Jacket" blanket party, then the school janitor drives him to the Oklahoma border where he's thrown out of the moving car and banished from the state for life.

The Alamo is kind of a big deal in Texas.

There were so many things I wanted to say but knew they would fall on deaf ears so we just told him to leave. I'm pretty sure he was getting at us voting for Obama, gay marriage etc. That was kind of the tone I got from it.

Good idea, you wouldn't have had much to stand on going that route.
