Fans who purchased tickets to the South Dakota State game (single game or season tickets) will receive tickets to the UIW contest on Dec. 1.

Agreed. The whole point of an FCS game is to have a warmup that is a near-guaranteed win, and given we generally have one of the tougher schedules in the nation anyway we should take our breaks where we can get them.

[edit] I suppose the most "Iowa State" thing that could happen would be: we qualify for the championship game, but have to forfeit in order to fulfill our previous obligation.
