I'm not sure if anyone here has any connections with those in control of the Iowa State Athletics website (www.cyclones.com), but an attempted visit to that website today yielded a totally unusable page. No links to the sports teams, their schedules, their rosters, etc. No current info on games played and their outcome. No press releases. Just a mostly blank page that has tabs for links to items on the 'Media Wall" which include Cyclones.tv (which actually has some links, but a subscriber will need to verify if those links work), a twitter link (which has no other info in it), Facebook, Instagram, and Photo Galleries (all which have no links - except a small link to the FB page, no info, no shared data).
I would hate to think that the web design team of a major university would be so incompetent as to post a partially finished web page LIVE, instead of completing it, testing it, and then wholly replacing the old web page.
BTW - attempting to hand enter the URL http://www.cyclones.com/football, I get a 404 page with links to what looks like the information I want to see;"Major sport"; with "schedule, roster, news" below the name of the major sport. However, when I click on the Major Sport (say Basketball), it pushes me back to the initial 'index' page. Clicking below each major sport to the 'schedule', 'roster' or 'news' link below the major sport link, does seem to give me the information that I was seeking.
Perhaps this is all a work in progress, but it seems like the web site was composed by DMAC students in the Web Page 101 class.
