I'm not sure if anyone here has any connections with those in control of the Iowa State Athletics website (www.cyclones.com), but an attempted visit to that website today yielded a totally unusable page. No links to the sports teams, their schedules, their rosters, etc. No current info on games played and their outcome. No press releases. Just a mostly blank page that has tabs for links to items on the 'Media Wall" which include Cyclones.tv (which actually has some links, but a subscriber will need to verify if those links work), a twitter link (which has no other info in it), Facebook, Instagram, and Photo Galleries (all which have no links - except a small link to the FB page, no info, no shared data).

I would hate to think that the web design team of a major university would be so incompetent as to post a partially finished web page LIVE, instead of completing it, testing it, and then wholly replacing the old web page.

BTW - attempting to hand enter the URL http://www.cyclones.com/football, I get a 404 page with links to what looks like the information I want to see;"Major sport"; with "schedule, roster, news" below the name of the major sport. However, when I click on the Major Sport (say Basketball), it pushes me back to the initial 'index' page. Clicking below each major sport to the 'schedule', 'roster' or 'news' link below the major sport link, does seem to give me the information that I was seeking.
Perhaps this is all a work in progress, but it seems like the web site was composed by DMAC students in the Web Page 101 class.

Works fine for me, using Chrome. Does appear to be a new layout of things since I last visited the site like a week ago.

Edit to add: Clicking your first link, OP, works fine. Clicking your second gives me a 404 page as well. But I can access the Football page just fine from the homepage by clicking to it.

Rolled out a new web page. Loads fine for me on Chrome. The links worked for me but the intro video explaining the new site won't play and my login to Cyclone.TV won't accept my password etc. Tried the change password option but the email it is supposed to send didn't happen. Some glitches.

It works fine for me. I'm guessing it is an issue with your computer or settings.

Several months ago, cyclones.tv sent me an email telling me that they were switching things around. I'd suggest you read that.

I cannot get non-premium video to work (all it shows is a black screen). Not sure what the problem is. I had little trouble with neulion. Any ideas, anyone (that is, besides emailing Pollard)?

Works fine on my Windows 8.1 computer using Firefox (didn't check IE), however it loads the content very slow. Same for my very old dual core computer running linux and viewing with Firefox. The initial screen showing a 'Media Wall" is what the older computer quad core computer gets stuck on with both Firefox and IE. All other web sites I have visited work fine. I am assuming that my antivirus software is kicking in somehow, but have discovered no modifications on that to enable or disable java. Will continue the investigation later.

Hey Cyclones.com, Al Gore called and said he wants his flash player back. I don't care for chrome on my phone or iPad.

Well the update mechanism for Java had broken, so I updated to the latest (which also uninstalled previous versions) and made sure that java was working. Still no joy. Noting the sarcasm of ripvdub (somewhat valid sarcasm I would say), I also checked to make sure the latest flash player was installed and working, which it is. Also disabled my virus protection software for cyclones.com, but this offered no improvement. Also disabled the add blocker addon in Firefox, but no help there either. Firefox is up to date. Windows Update has run and has all new updates.
Yes, browser cache and history cleared several times.

Any other ideas?

just wait a couple of days. The website is new. There might be problems although it sounds like it is working fine for most of us.

Honestly, you have s month or so before you really need it right?

What bothers me is that since others found it working, I checked my other computers, and yes it works fine. However, with my main computer, with all cache's cleaned and all software updated and unblocked, I still cannot see the content that I can see with my other computers (and it seems to not depend on the browser used).

Now I could go ahead with criticism about the new website, but the real issue seems to be on my end and with only one computer.

STILL not successfully loading on ONE computer, despite all new updates, reloaded flash player and Java, complete replacement of virus software with another brand of virus software. No problems on this computer with any other websites I have visited.
