I was thinking the same thing. Has McDermott EVER gotten a Technical to fire up his teams since he has come to ISU? To fire us up? To let us know he is fighting for us? I LOVED when Tim and Larry and even Johnny would just get fed up with the crap that was going on the court and go ballistic. I think the song goes "...Fight for Iowa State", Not " clap for Iowa State" or "career manage for Iowa State" or " get really perturbed for Iowa State."

I'm sorry, if this kid is not starting within a week or two, Greg deserved to be asked some very hard questions. I'm not a fire Greg guy at this point, but continuing to not take complete advantage of Colvin's abilities is foolish.

4 bad seasons in a row, beat 0 ranked teams, and this season was the first time we had won on the road in conference play for 3 years. Any other high major program would already be on the search for a new coach.

Watch games. He's on referees the entire game. You notice when it gets out of hand because that's when you want to start paying attention.

In the NFL they are always talking about QB's that are good enough to get you fired. That is kind of how I feel about DG. He looks good sometimes, and probably great in practice, but doesn't seem to really run the offense that well.

Maybe at this point its best to hit rock bottom. Make it impossible for Pollard not to act on bringing in a new leader.

*blowout loses
*have 2-3 players quit / transfer

Hurts now, but might be best for the long run.

you really think chewing out the refs all the time is going to help us? If anything it will annoy the refs and my experience with that is they get "little man syndrome" then and you get less calls to go your way.
