We have NO money to be out.
Next season will again raise some decent expectations and probably enough to sell a reasonable amount of season tickets.
Are you kidding me? who the hell is going to do anything next season? Mac will be back because we are broke(and Pollard is stupid for giving him that extension), and we are gonna lose brackins and gilstrap. DG sucks. Unless christopherson hits two million threes next year we will be even worse.
What expectations? No Gilstrap and no Brackins! Hard to believe but the team will be worse next season then this season.
I honestly want to know what McD does in practice? The defense was the worst i've seen all season long, from any team. It didn't even seem like people knew who they were supposed to guard. They were doubling the ball almost the entire second half. DG turns the ball over twice in a row, and he takes out Colvin? Are you kidding me? Take out they guy that just turned it over. There was no sense of urgency the entire second half. No plan to get back in it, no leadership (from coach or players trying to fire everybody up). This was the most embarrassing loss i've ever seen. Not a single player was playing like they had something to prove or even wanted to compete. Give me petey back, they can have gilstrap. I'll take heart and pride over athletic ability every time..... They better find the money to get a coach, otherwise we will be loosing donations from big guys. Then we'll never have the money to pay him... At least Eusctachy gave back the money the university gave him when he felt he did not meet expectations...
I won't count Gilstrap out yet and the way Brackins is playing he might be forced back for a Senior year.
Even if they are back, what have you seen from the last 3.5 years that makes you think it will get better. The team has now quit on the coach, this year is lost. Players returning next season will not have heart for the coach unless there is strong leadership within the team. We have not seen that.

It's quite the conundrum. I think he leaves either way. I guess seeing his lack of total effort and hustle this year I question if I would actually like to see him another year. He's more or less going through the motions when he gets challenged or when he has to really work. I think his effort really sucks, I see no fight in him. Yes I am a hater.
the coaching staff has sold the players short, isu doesnt attract good enough talent not to develop players, this staff as a whole has proved incapable of developing players, it starts at the top as he has retained assistants who do not possess the tools to coach at this level, recruiting, game planning, in-game adjustments, and tempo, using the short bench excuse is laughable, 8 players is enough to compete and enough to win with, head coach is in over his head and he knows it, this staff doesnt survive another year
If that were true then we'd have an excuse.
He is bringing in the talent needed to compete. But that talent either:
underperforms
never makes it to potential
leaves
gets injured
