how 'big' would u say these beers are? 8 oz?, 12oz? ... This tent interests me but would like to know if its 'worth' it before getting there ... Thanks

16 oz plastic cups. You could do a variety of different things. $20 for 8, 2 oz samples or 3, 16 oz. Pretty good beers, same tent they had at Arts Festival and Brew Fest.
Also I want to quickly note that this years University of Iowa cheerleaders are busted. They made an appearance as I was in Varied Industries buildng. Prolly 15 of them walked right by me. Not a single attractive one. Not that any of this should come as a surprise to anyone.
I like it at the moment, but I'm sure I'll hate it by the end, as I'm working the fair everyday of it. We'll see how long I can tolerate it.

Was at the ISU booth today and saw some hok fans touching the CyHawk trophy. I jokingly told them to look at it now, because it will be a long time before they will hold it again. Laughingly, they agreed. On vacation, talked to a guy with a Creighton shirt on. Kidded him about Chewy and he laughed. I then found out he was a Iowa grad, but wasn't too excited to wear a Hokeye shirt. :smile:

Pretty sure it was 9 samplers, but we got the 3 - 16 ozers. I was not disappointed.

these dumb ****ers usually know exactly nothing about agriculture. All week friends have been posting pictures of their animals at the fair. Talk about pampered.
But sure, let's free all the animals so they can die of preventable diseases, be non-humanely killed by predators, and become roadkill.

amen to that even the cattle we have in the feed lot have it dang good all the food and water they want. if they were out in the wild they would have to fight to survive

I made it to Chuckies and they will be at San Diego Chargers home games this fall. The trailer is based out of San Diego but the people are from Clinton County Iowa. I didn't see Parlo Pizza and I haven't gotten to try their pizza yet.
I am sure there are a few new things you will see at the fair this year such as....
