Wonder how much this will boost Lenz's stock...would love to see the Vikes get him with a late round pick...

Maybe Sage will put in a good word for him if he still has a good relationship with the Vikes...

Jake ran a 4.8 something then a 4.77 and decided not to run again due to a hammy. Hate to say it, but he's prob a late round or FA pick. Mostly due to his health IMO.

He still runs faster than Monte Teo. Maybe he just needs some fake girlfriend media coverage. He may well be a late round pick but that won't stop him from playing in the league. How many times will a 0.1-0.2 sec over 40 yards matter while playing LB in the NFL. He will probably underwhelm on team's stat sheets until he gets on the field.

Also, impressive day from Josh Lenz. He's got that sneaky athletic ability that doesn't stand out till he passes you by.

Teo ran a 4.71 official today...so Jake is slower.

Lenz never had great absolute numbers for any season, but his per-play and per-catch numbers were VERY good the past two years. And he caught the ball a ton when he was thrown to. I wrote a (very long) post about our receivers months ago and Lenz graded in the Top 10% of BCS receivers in nearly every category on a per-play, per-catch and per-target basis. He will play in the NFL.

Will josh lenz play slot receiver? I could see him playing like a wes welker/amendola

From what I could tell he played #1WR for us, not his natural position, but because we had no one else.

Uh knott could run backwards and beat teo in the forty. There is a reason he ran a high 4.8 at the combine. He is slow.

Don't care what he unofficially ran at pro day.

If we are limited to white guys who played in the Big 12 I'll throw Jordy Nelson out as a comparison.

Its too bad that Josh Lenz wasn't healthy this year and when he was it is too bad our QB's weren't a little more accurate to be able to get him the ball more. I knew he was athletic but those are some pretty special numbers.
