I don't think the game slips past Fox at 11.

If Fox gets first selection this week they will put us and Texas on at big noon. (Both of us must win)

If Texas loses i can see us slipping to 2:30 espn or FS1 at 11.

If Nebraska wins this Saturday. I bet they pick OSU at Nebraska for Big Noon (11 am on FOX). If Texas and us win.. We probably get Fox's afternoon or evening slots.

ABS at night is going to be Auburn at aTm

ABC isn't contractually allowed to show the SEC in prime time.

That's either going to be Iowa-Northwestern or Washington-Oregon.

If ISU and Texas both take care of business tomorrow, I'll be shocked if it isn't 11:00 on Big FOX.

Iowa - NW prime time night game on ABC? Will the FCC allow such garbage on antenna TV?

That SEC game is the best of the day (by AP rankings at least). ESPN and SEC will want it in primetime. Ohio St is FOX's golden goose. They will want to highlight them over a 2 loss ISU or 3-4 loss Texas. Nebraska and OSU has more viewership/ratings power

They absolutely can put in prime time, it would just have to be on ESPN.

They've already announced that Iowa/NW is at night so it's either ABC or BTN and Iowa has already fulfilled their BTN requirements for the year.

Where are you seeing the Iowa/NW is scheduled to be a night game?

BTN is a minimum requirement. Not a maximum. Like ESPN+ for the big 12. So I expect they get BTN

if we are sitting there for ESPNs selections which I believe they choose 2nd after fox, I doubt they pass up on Texas/ISU at 2:30 if Fox passed it up for 11.

just my two cents which don't mean CRAP!

You can rule out a night game. Pretty much 0% chance that happens.
Why do you think that is? It looks like the Big 12 has possible options to be at 6:00, 6:30 and 7:00 in addition to the morning/afternoon slots.

ISU/Texas will be selected first or second depending on this week's outcomes. It won't be available for the night slots. My guess is Fox takes Ohio State-Nebraska for the noon (11 CT) slot and we "fall" to 2:30 ABC/ESPN. But it's tough to figure out with all of those open slots.

??? Not sure how this rules out the ABC primetime slot. It draws a bigger number than the 2:30 slot so ABC/ESPN would absolutely grab Texas vs Iowa State for that game.

It's a long way out so things could change but the weather right now in that time frame looks fairly cold. As a fan I'd prefer a day game with hopefully some sun to make the low 40's feel better compared to a night game with temperatures in the 30's.

The sun will be out for a full day of tailgating and then when it goes down we'll be cozy with 65K Cyclone fans inside of JTS!
