Honestly, I can't think of a good look with the chrome helmets...

On a sunny day, the chrome helmets reflect a lot of light and look a little magenta. Night games or indoors are best for the chrome lids, in my opinion.
The reminded me that the C-C-W from last weekend looked better than last year mostly because the UNI game was overcast. White elements look better on cloudy days. The white shone a little too bright for Akron last year, but it looked better this time. Still not my favorite for not having any tie-in with the C-C helmets and jerseys, but that improved it.
How many times have we worn the chrome lids...? Twice?

Just a shot in the dark here, but maybe we see a new uniform for the Iowa game? I could see them doing a new uni for the Iowa game. To be honest none of our uniforms really go with the chrome helmets but maybe we come out in a light grey uniform with lighter red accents to go with the chrome lids?

I know there was a recruit wearing a chrome helmet on black and it actually didn't look terrible. Still looking for where I saw that...
If we are going to go with the chrome lids as this tweet portrays, the only home jersey we have that would look good with that would be the black. I don't think cardinal would look good at all with the chrome, and I honestly don't think Campbell is going to go with the black uniforms against Iowa. So... this would be an awesome surprise to give us a new uniform for this game.

I highly doubt Campbell goes black against Iowa. Then again, if he does and we win, that'd be glorious.
I would bet so since they took the time to tweet it...but since there is a bye week they could just be doing set-up work and not game prep.
