Just take a look at Louisville when they wore black lids with chrome decals. They look nice through a professional lens but on TV it was real tough to see what was going on.
If you have CBS Sports, go check out UNLV’s lids. We already have the chrome facemasks and can do a red stencil I-STATE logo.

They just said on Gameday that paint is $1500 a gallon. If we spend that much on painting a helmet, it’d better be a special game and we’d better win it.
Is what a real thing? The chrome helmet? You watched the Liberty Bowl and TCU games, right? Trying to bring Dan Patrick to Ames? I would assume so.
I freaking love that helmet, BTW. Thought it looked great with the all gold uniforms, but we apparently ditched those.
Was it already announced that we will wear W-C-W for homecoming vs Tech?

White-cardinal-white is my choice for tech game, too. I think that combo will look even better with the new design than it did with the previous.
