We live and die by Donovan Jackson's 3 ball. If he is hot I predict we win. If he is cold we lose.

It would be a huge mistake to settle for the first wide open shot against Iowa. Certainly not the first wide open three. Take the fourth or fifth wide open shot. Most of those can be lay ups. Ask Virginia Tech.

I still believe that the team will continue to show improvement and pull away in the 2nd half: Clones 92-76.

Bingo. I have a feeling we will come out pressing (mentally, not defensively) and this could lead to some quick triggers. As Hoiberg always mentioned, moving the ball side to side will be the key. We have to make their defense move, which opens up driving lanes and leads to layups and open kickout threes.

In a game like this, I'm sure the coaching staff is aware that the team will be "up" and will want to settle them down a bit. Most likely talking about discipline and patience, reminding them that this is largely the same Iowa team that rolled a much more experienced group last year, and hopefully that one big shot is not going to win or lose the game.

ISU 79-61. Coach is really stressing pushing the tempo. Iowa can't run with these guys. They have a size advantage but only Cook can score inside.

I think their guard play is so weak, particularly on the defensive end, that it's hard not to see Wigginton, DJ and Babb lighting them up. Cook will probably get his, but he's so inconsistent and has such bad hands that it's hard for them to get him involved. ISU 83- Iowa 68.

If Fran was willing to stick to his best players and stop this 9-11 guys playing at least 10 minutes s*it, their record would be better and I'd feel a lot worse about this time. I feel like Fran will coach that team into a corner and we win because of it. Their height and consequently offensive rebounding does scare me though.

I picked Iowa to win and am happy I was wrong. They are much worse than I thought. We played bad in most aspects of the game and still won. They really just don't have much talent at all

I had ISU winning but Iowa to cover +6.5 on the game. Then “the lock of the day” happened, ISU -5 2nd half = double up!
