Last time we were in Phoenix, they kept apologizing for the cold and windy weather ... it was 78 with a less than 5 mph breeze :biggrin:

Its in the 50s there lately. Cold stretch.. it better leave!

Although 50s and sunny sounds pretty nice!

You could learn the "Who hates Iowa? We hate Iowa!" chant from them.:cute:
:biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

That would be a RIOT if everyone in the stadium broke out in that cheer. It is my understanding that the Goofers break out that cheer even when they aren't playing Iowa...and realizing that ISU fans aren't fond of Iowa, I wouldn't put it past them to break it out.

The more I think about it, the more I think it could actually happen...

A better matchup for us no doubt. Will be disappointed if we can't find a victory against the Gophers

Their fans are saying Brewster is playing for his job... thoughts? Kinda hard to believe that a Goofers coach playing in a bowl game is in danger.

It would actually be pathetic and embarrasing. Obsessing about Iowa while at a bowl game is, well, pathetic and embarrasing.

Minnesota is one of the most poorly coached teams in the nation. Totally undisciplined too. You guys couldn't have asked for a better opponent.

Brewster will be back, win or lose. But the game may decide if he gets a contract extension or not.

Oh I know it would be extremely embarrassing for your fan base. The bad thing is, if it does, in fact, happen, you know some ISU fans will be going along with it.

I wouldn't put it past Iowa fans if the same sort of situation were to arise.

I think Michigan State would be the preferred opponent with all the suspensions. Laugh if you may, but I think Minnesota can be a dangerous team against ISU. They may have looked like garbage the last few weeks, but they do have the potential to put some numbers on the board. One thing that could tip the balances is the kick return game for Minnesota. How is ISU's kick return coverage?
