What did you think of the late game over-and-back call? Had Morris actually established position in the front court? I never saw a replay that was definitive because the TTU player was blocking the camera.

Our guys need better court awareness in that situation. There is no reason for the "trailer" to be in the backcourt late in the 10 second count. Being siutationally-aware will be so important when we go to Morgantown!

No, he definitely left the ground in the back court, and he hadn't come down yet (or it would have been a travel). No idea what the rule is, but I thought you had to be established in the front court first (on the ground).

That call was absolute ****. I've looked at it again, and there is no way that it was an over and back, for several reasons.

1) Monte jumped from the back court to pass. He passed the ball before he landed in the frontcourt, so literally no foot or the ball was established in the frontcourt before the pass. If he would have landed before he passed, it would have been a travel, not an over and back.

2) When NWB caught the ball, he wasn't in the backcourt. He had his feet on or over the line. Since Monte wasn't ever established in the front court, being on the line is totally legal.

That call didn't end up affecting the game because Smith missed the ensuing three, but I would have been really pissed if we lost the game on that ********.

In order to be established in the frontcourt, all 3 points of contact (both feet + the basketball) have to be over the half court line. Until then, you can dance on the line and not have it called.

It seemed that the call made sense only if they allowed Monte to land after his jump-step (and then pass the ball to Babb who hadn't established himself in the front-court). Our bench would have had a good view of that. But I didn't see anybody complaining about the call.

I thought TT had an inordinate number of moving screens that were not called. One at top of key the guy just kept backing his ass back about three or four times.

Also, I know they don't seem to care about three seconds in the lane any more, but I am assuming there is no exception when a guy falls down and lays in the lane for a while and then stands up in the lane a while longer before a shot goes up.

I think no one complained about it cause live it kind of looked like the right call. I was screaming right away that he never established himself in the front court.. my roommates told me to shut up

Yeah, same here. However, he clearly hadn't landed..........then I spent 5/10 mins explaining the damn rule to MY roommates.

Why over and back isn't reviewable is beyond me. It's a pretty clear cut call much like an out of bounds review so why can't they go to the monitor inside 2 minutes?

Senior Day this year, like always, will be a sad day. Last game in Hilton forever for Matt, Monte, Naz, Deonte, ect.... I recommend you go to it if you haven't before. Great tribute to a bunch of young guys who gave so much to the name "Cyclone".

That goes without saying...I'm not ashamed to admit I had tears running down my cheeks last year when Georges was talking.

I did too..This year will be tough too but, GN is my favorite clone of all time and I don't see that title ever shifting too anyone else

Great job by coaching staff to have a plan that put us in position to win. Great job by players to execute just enough to win.

I agree somewhat, it's just that they don't want more stoppages in the game for officials to go to the monitor.

Very impressive road win -- moreso when Burton has an off night. We would not have won that game just a couple of weeks ago with his performance.

Tech impressed me. We struggled to turn them over, which is usually also a bad sign if we cannot get transition baskets.

Overall gutsy, gutsy win to play Saturday evening and finish off a respectable team on a quick turn around road contest.
