Does anyone else think that Woodbury is the ugliest kid to ever play for a team in the state of Iowa?

I think it'd be pretty hard to argue against that. Iowa has one of the goofiest looking teams in the history of college basketball this year.

Good job of putting down a 19 year old kid.

If that turd is man enough to wear a hawk shirt on his ISU visit he's man enough to deal with the fact he looks like Lurch and Jaws made a baby.

There's thousands of 19 year olds carrying weapons far from home protecting your freedom right now but yeah, Woodbury isn't one of them. That's for sure.

I would say Iowa beats Villanova, we will have our hands full.

****, the way some are acting in here, we should just hand them the title right now.

Are they a decent team? Yes. Saying that, they are probably the 5th best team that will visit Ames this year to play in Hilton, and I only expect to lose one MAYBE two of those game.

In order of toughness:

1. OSU (only ahead of KU because of experience on the road)
2. KU
3. Michigan, will still be better than Iowa. Write it down right now, no matter what Hawk fans will try to tell us.
4. Baylor (Baylor is Baylor is Baylor) but look at what they did against Iowa last year,
5. Tie, Iowa/Oklahoma. Both about 5th place teams in their respective conference.

Ames
I think we do know enough about Iowa to realize they are a good team. They could very well be the toughest team we'll play in the non conference after it's all said and done, with the possible exception of BYU because we had to play them in a hostile environment. Michigan isn't looking all that great anymore.

I still get this feeling that Niang and Ejim will get into foul trouble against Iowa, which will mean it probably will come down to how we hit our 3's again. Last year we couldn't hit them, and Iowa won. It is a MUST to keep Niang and Ejim out of foul trouble. And we will have to find a way to break their pressure too.

It's not likely going to be as easy of a game as some on here think. Iowa is pretty deep and play pretty tough defense. I'm still not impressed with their offensive skill players in the half court besides Marble. If we don't let them get out and run, they become very beatable. Aaron White can't score in the half court.

I like our chances, but it will be a very tough game. And I hate that. I want Iowa to be really bad. Unfortunately they aren't.

You forgot that guy DeAndre Kane that we didn't have last year. He's the difference maker.

You're really putting Iowa 5th? Rivalry game against a solid team. As much grief as we want to give Iowa about the Baylor game last year I don't think Baylor or Oklahoma would beat Iowa at a neutral site.

Exactly my thoughts, except OSU and KU order is yet to be determined.

Then you both are delusional.

Ask yourself, where would Iowa finish in the Big 12? If you say below us fighting for fifth with OU, I proved my point. If you say above us in the top 3, I think you are delusional.

You are entitled to your opinion. But I feel the same way about those that are anointing Iowa to the level that you seem to have them at after they have proved absolutely nothing so far this year.

I've said for the last 6 months we would beat Iowa in Hilton. I agree that they haven't proven anything, but it will be a tough home game for us.

I think they would be fighting with us and Baylor for the three spot. Baylor nor Iowa have looked impressive, but Iowa is going to come in ranked into a rivalry game. They will actually have fan support unlike when Baylor, who has never won in Hilton, and Oklahoma come to town. I hate Iowa as much as the next guy, but some here don't want to give them any credit.
