Article re: ISU/Iowa national statistical comparison. From just the stats, looks like two very evenly matched teams. The stats don't account for Hilton Magic, however.

Iowa has not played in a hostile environment this year, and the one game they played against a quality opponent they choked (hard)... So we'll see if they have a good team soon enough... Michigan is a better team than Iowa and we handled them in Hilton.

I don't think Michigan is better than Iowa. This would be a huge win for us. Both teams are top 10-15 in my opinion. Should be a head knocker.

Michigan will end the season better than Iowa IMO.

Well then that would help Iowa's SOS more than ISU, considering that Iowa plays Michigan twice yet.

Do you really think that ISU SOS is gonna be harder than Iowa's at the end of the year???? If so, do you want to expand our current bet???

I've thought Michigan was overrated from Day 1 and I still think they aren't anything special.

I agree. I think you lose 2 guys like they did, and it hurts. Maybe they right the ship, they do have talent on the roster, but I thought top 10 was too high for them.

They have so much talent on their team. I think they turn it around and end up being top 5 in the B1G which IMO will be higher than Iowa. They lost to Duke and ISU which are quality losses and then dropped one against Charlotte in a tourney...jury is still out on them since they haven't beaten anyone very good yet. I think once they get it going they will be a tough out

Ok, I was gonna be like, WHAAAAAAT??? if you thought that.

Oh no, unless the bottom half of the Big 12 is a lot better than I expected I don't see it happening at all. I do think ISU's non conf SOS will be better but that's it.

This game is much bigger in Ames than it would be at Iowa. Clone fans have been obsessed with Iowa, whether Iowa is good or bad, in both money sports, dating back to forever, and particularly since Hayden Fry's epic run of 15 straight. So much hate. Iowa has a good team. ISU has a good team, and could probably play with anybody in the country IF they are 'on'. I have to believe the Clones will at least be favored by the std 4 point home advantage, which is even more at Hilton than most venues. Plus Iowa has 9 Iowa kids on the roster.

True, you never know who is gonna rise up and do better. As it appears right now, Iowa will have a strong SOS.

Iowa has depth, Iowa State has talent. Talent beats depth IMO.. not to mention it is at Hilton. I know we shouldnt overlook the hawkeyes but I have a good feeling about this one. Especially with this team.

I understand that is a necessity when your coach can't get his top choices.

I bet you weren't even born when Hay-seed was coaching.
