You might be right only because you are deeper in the front court. But I would say we are way deeper in the Backcourt, and SDW is better than Jok, and nearly as good as any gaurd not named Marble on Iowa's team. And he is buried on our depth chart.
I still think this "depth" advantage Iowa has on us is a farce.

And what are you basing your opinion that I'm wrong on? I think you are insane if you think Jok is better than SDW. And if you think that, what do you base that off of?
The win isn't the issue, it's by how much. Watched Iowa at home against ND as I'm sure most of us did, and I think ISU's quickness and athleticism is going to run Iowa right out of Hilton. They have good size and length with White, Uthoff etc, but man I don't think they can stay at our tempo for very long. One legit question I had after that game was whether they typically sit in zone, or was that just based on the matchup with ND? I know anything can happen and it's a rivalry game blah blah, but Iowa would have to play the perfect game to have a chance to beat ISU at the end, especially in Hilton. PS, they have no shot against Michigan State for the B1G title.

SDW would battle Jok for minutes? That is absolutely hilarious it really is. SDW was a top 125 recruit had offers from Michigan, Indiana, FSU, Baylor, Minnesota, VTech and several others. Jok was unranked. His only major offer was the Iowa Hawkeyes. No one else. SDW has a year of experience at the college level. The true freshman Jok comes into the game and literally does nothing but spot up at three point line and throw up careless trash 3 pointers. Get outta here Deanvogs you are absolutely clueless.

What does SDW "offers" have to do with his play on the court? The fact that you use that as your arguement shows how clueless you are. Ogelsby and McCabe had better offers than White and Marble....who are the better players?

White & Marble are juniors and seniors respectively you imbecile. We've had their entire college careers to judge their ability. SDW and Jok are freshman it is literally impossible to judge who is the better collegiate talent at this point. All I know is based off their prep careers and a number of recruiting analysts and highly respected head coaches they view SDW as the far superior talent. They know the game of basketball far better than you ever will. You are clueless.
Seems to me all you are going by is their "ranking", not using your supreme "basketball knowledge" at all....Roy Williams felt Woodbury had far superior talent as well....
Plus you are the only person who is trying to judge who is better at this point. I said SDW would battle Jok for min at Iowa.....Jok is getting very few min. in real games, and SDW is getting 0.0 min in real games (Mich, BYU). Neither are or would be any kind of contributor for either team. Never said one was better.....you did.....
Oh hey, what was our bet on Niang again? You said he would Avg. 18-20PPG, I said he wouldn't. What were the stakes of that bet again? With your vast BB knowledge, it would seem you would know more about what kind of year Niang was gonna have.....
I said I was wrong. I thought Niang would have to carry the mail before the Kane signing and I did not foresee Dustin Hogue blowing up the way he has. I'm thrilled I was wrong. Jok would get zero minutes for ISU because he is a defensive liability. SDW has gotten limited minutes because he has to prove himself on this end also. ISU has a decent amount of shooters on there team that they have to differentiate themselves on the defensive end. SDW has been doing that and is starting to get minutes. Jok gets minutes because they don't have anyone else that can shoot the ball. SDW is just as good of a offensive player than jok and more athletic. He would play in front of Jok if he was at IA.
Touche. I have since revised my prediction on this very site. I am not one to deny reality, and the reality is ISU looks very, very good. I also won't bet $100 on the Iowa Vs ISU game, as I have NEVER said Iowa will win that game, cause I don't think they will win in Ames, and I felt that way when I thought ISU wouldn't be as good as they are playing now. I do think Iowa is a lock for the tournament. I'll take the bet on the higher seed, if you also take the bet on your claims about Niang Avg. 18-20PPG.
