Iowa vs. ISU predictions

I think ISU is found it's identity second half of the Lamar game and carried it through to the Ark game. I do expect it to be close in the first half due to this being ISU first true road game leading to some shooting misfires but in the end I just don't think Iowa can score (especially from 3) with this Clone team and ISU pulls away in the second half.

Personal prediction, Being super annoyed that the game is on the B1G network and their announcers will be in full Big 10/IOWA "is great" company montra. Forcing me to mute the TV and switching the Cyclone Radio brodcast.

I think ISU matched intensity. This game is about one team intimidating the other, and ISU won't get intimidated. Clones 78 Iowa 70.
I worry about Iowa's size, that being said, I don't think they have the points to beat us.
They are not a good shooting team, but play pretty good defense.
This game won't get into the 80's for either side. That benefits Iowa. However even on a bad night we can score high 60's. Iowa I don't think will.

We win by 5-10. I expect Edozie and Nader to play significant roles. Last year's game was so close because we had to give up so many easy buckets to stay out of foul trouble. Edozie has been the biggest surprise to me so far this year, his game has advanced enough that he is a legit contributor off the bench and you don't feel like we are sacrificing much having him on the court. That has still yet to be seen from Nader, but I think he certainly has the talent once it clicks, and at the very least he'll be a few fouls that we can give out there to make it tougher on Iowa's front court.

I'm sorry, didn't realize predicting a close loss to a decent Iowa team on the road early in the year is so pessimistic. Butthurt much?
I don't have a problem with you predicting Iowa to win a rivalry game on their home court, but I do have a problem that you called them decent.
I think we get into foul trouble early and struggle to rebound. If we can hit outside shots it'll be a good game and we probably win. If not, it'll be a long night.
Whether you like it or not, it is what it is. They aren't a bad team, sorry. They aren't great by any means either though.
Tight game, I'm not convinced ISU is a good road team yet. But in the end Iowa's inablility to guard athletic guards dooms them yet again.

its all about ISU. I fully expect Jok, Gessel and Oglsby to come out of their horrific shooting slump given its their super bowl.
