1. Irons. Like, the kind you use to iron clothes. I got burnt with one really badly on my forearm when I was little, and now I am just terrified of them. I will spray my clothes with water and hang them up, rather than iron them. :dull:

2. People in my bubble. Airports, walking into venues - I hate when there are people pressed right up on my business. Makes me claustrophobic.

3. Bedbugs. I went to a hotel this week, and frantically checked every surface in the room for them so the little bastards didn't cling to my clothes and come home with me.

I'm curious about the blanket thing - any blankets or the fleece ones with the frayed edging? The snowsuit reminds me of another big one - the feeling of filing your nails. Ughhhh!

It's the material (like the snowmobile suit type) edging. If your skin is dry, it catches on that stuff. Just really drives me bananas to either touch it or hear it rubbing together.

Those half-circle shaped, glass elevators which allow you to see how far you're going to fall to your death in any minute.

Botflys. Thats probably not irrational though...

Holy ****, yes. I saw a documentary on them and I was like "Well, I guess I'm never going to South America." Then I find out they're moving north! For ****'s sake, can we get some scientists on that?

1. Spiders
2. the centipedes/millipede things that you find in houses
3. the sound of ripping paper (it sends shivers down by back)
4. people being in my bubble when they don't have to be. So it bothers me if I'm in a room and someone is really close to me when they don't have to be, but it doesn't bother If I'm going into hilton and am in the middle of a crowd.

yeah apparently those house centipedes are good. They kill spiders. Or so DH told me when I was curled up on the corner of the bed hiding from one. KILL IT WITH FIRE.

Hate:
styrofoam - especially the sound of it makes when it contacts another piece of foam

The term "breakfast food" - nobody uses the terms "lunch food" or "dinner food" so why "breakfast food"? It drives me crazy.

Fear:
Whales - scare the crap out of me. Don't know why.

There's some noises I just can't handle, chewing, breathing, clipping finger nails, drive me ******* crazy.

I agree on all the noises.

I also can't stand the sound of a stiff brush or broom on pavement.

PS: I'm also scared of snakes and spiders but I don't consider those fears irrational.
