I think Lazard is more of a lefty specialist type. Rhoads should think about moving him to the pen.
You do. He'd be more of a flex TE which is really not different than being a receiver. An H-back is like a FB/TE hybrid type guy. He's definitely not that.
Also, ditch the TEs. They aren't blocking well and they aren't receiving threats.
It would be cool if Montgomery even showed up. Or Bundrage live up to the potential. Those 2 fumbles were pathetic. Our receivers as I'd rank them...How about if Lazard stops dropping 3 balls per game and SR/Mangenius actually targets the existing TEs...who are wide open and mismatched on tiny DBs.
He probably can't gain quite that much weight. I suppose if he redshirted next season? I wouldn't move him to line tho. He is athletic enough to play TE.We need some help on the o-line too, and he's a good blocker. Maybe we could try him at guard.
jimlad implied.
If I recall CPR has a thing for recruiting TE to play OL so if we move Lazard to TE this season can he be a guard next season and then possibly our center his senior season? This makes sense... I support the move. Maybe we can have him catch passes out of the center position.

at least put some effort in your trolling

You wanna see a complete disaster in the run game? Far worse than what we see now? Then remove the TEs. We do have TEs who can catch the ball but we don't call plays for them to catch it. It's a big mistake. These guys aren't that bad, I've seen them in practice and they caught the ball well then.
We already have some other capable WR's. but putting Lazard at TE would create mismatches. You wanna see a complete disaster in the run game? Far worse than what we see now? Then remove the TEs. No offense, Herk, but the two bolded terms are synonymous here. Now, that is just crazy talk. Let's stay on topic here and not get caught up in ridiculous hypotheticals. TIA for not hijacking this thread
