You do. He'd be more of a flex TE which is really not different than being a receiver. An H-back is like a FB/TE hybrid type guy. He's definitely not that.

Also, ditch the TEs. They aren't blocking well and they aren't receiving threats.

Exactly. I feel TE's are overrated. Give me 4 WR's spreading the field wide (like Baylor) does and it should draw the defensive alignments out wide and you should be able to get some yards running.

I'm surprised Detroit hasn't moved Megatron to TE. Could you imagine the mismatches?!?

Maybe lazard could coach and play at the same time. I bet he wouldn't even need an assistant to carry his head set!

How about if Lazard stops dropping 3 balls per game and SR/Mangenius actually targets the existing TEs...who are wide open and mismatched on tiny DBs.

It would be cool if Montgomery even showed up. Or Bundrage live up to the potential. Those 2 fumbles were pathetic. Our receivers as I'd rank them...

Lazard

Wesley

Daley/Bundrage

Montgomery

We need some help on the o-line too, and he's a good blocker. Maybe we could try him at guard.

jimlad implied.
He probably can't gain quite that much weight. I suppose if he redshirted next season? I wouldn't move him to line tho. He is athletic enough to play TE.

If I recall CPR has a thing for recruiting TE to play OL so if we move Lazard to TE this season can he be a guard next season and then possibly our center his senior season? This makes sense... I support the move. Maybe we can have him catch passes out of the center position.

Now, that is just crazy talk. Let's stay on topic here and not get caught up in ridiculous hypotheticals. TIA for not hijacking this thread

You wanna see a complete disaster in the run game? Far worse than what we see now? Then remove the TEs. We do have TEs who can catch the ball but we don't call plays for them to catch it. It's a big mistake. These guys aren't that bad, I've seen them in practice and they caught the ball well then.

any production on the practice field is against our team, so you can't really take it seriously.

We already have some other capable WR's. but putting Lazard at TE would create mismatches.

Plus, from the players stand point, that would be his best opportunity to make it at the next level. Add 20 pounds and it would be a great fit. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if he came out in the draft after next year if he moved to TE.

I think it is time to make the switch, and send HerkClone to an insane asylum. He has the mental condition to do so and if I am him, I'd have to realize that the insane asylum is the only real way to get to the next level.

Doubt if his parents are brave enough to do it, but it would allow for some more appropriate interactions.

Is it too late to clone Lazard and have a Lazard for every position?
