We have not lost wearing yellow helmets over the past three seasons. Maybe it's time to bring them out for the Army game. Would certainly light up the stadium. They could be auctioned off, or worn on until we lose with them. What do you think?

Sounds good to me. I prefer the red helmets but, the yellow is certainly a nice change of pace and looks good as well.
Lets completly revamp everything. new jerseys. modern style not the old school stuff. i could see that coming next year

All sarcasm aside, ISU really needs to pick a uniform (plus logo and colors) and stick with them. This constant changing does nothing to build brand identity. It seems like ISU changes more than any other BCS school out there (with exception to Oregon maybe).
Eh...I could still go with the yellow helmets though. But then after that .....keep it forever.:smile:
Agreed. The administration needs to stop giving carte blanche when they hire a coach. It's hard to build tradition and history when the slate is wiped clean every few years.
While that would be cool, that was special for the Army-Navy game last year. Wouldn't count on that happening.
Its never time for yellow helmets but...it might just be time to break out the GOLD helmets and forget these Cardinal helmets for awhile!!!
Remember when we all voted on the new logo and uniforms 3 years ago? We were originally going to have yellow helmets, but it was decided to go with a more "traditional" color. Wouldn't a more traditional color for the helmet be gold? I am in favor of the gold, or anything else that might set us apart a bit more then this mirror of USC look we are sporting now.
