2017: 3-4
2016: 1-4
(Total games played: 91)

--> Note: I'm being kind with one-score games definition. Iowa game wasn't truly one-score. Nor was Baylor 2022 or Clemson bowl game. And a few others, those are off the top of my head. Ohio game barely counts.

To be fair, a few one-score wins were scoreboard-only, too.

But now we’ve moved from keeping it one-score vs. Big 12 opponents that average 45 points per game and traditionally kill ISU, to “keeping it close” vs. a MAC team by going scoreless for 3 quarters.

The Iowa game last year was a victorious one score game. And that was a legit one score game

Honestly, I’d rather watch a 70-0 blowout, knowing that the entire team, players and coaches, is doing their best and leaving it all on the field.

Racking up L’s because our coach keeps making the same bone-headed mistakes is still racking up L’s, even if the score is close. Is anyone actually having fun watching this grind-to- lose scheme?

Don’t think it can’t happen again. My whole point is that we need to make the change BEFORE we get to that point. It’s almost formulaic and @alarson had a nice post on it in another thread.

Good thing we can't get kicked out of conferences. Washington State and Oregon State are both way better brands than ISU.

right?! I get so tired of people clamoring for this.....college football is something we watch for entertainment for a school we love, not life. I can barely afford to live, so the last thing I'm going to do is donate to a collective, ESPECIALLY when it won't matter with our current coaching

What exactly did you expect when you lose your starting RB, an OL, and QB and replace them with underclassmen?

The team has some talent on offense, but it’s young talent.

I hate people who are only here to spread negativity. I feel sorry if you actually are like that outside of a keyboard. Living live negatively is never healthy. And I won’t associate myself with such people. Life is too short to be surrounded by people who are miserable.

And you realize sports is just an entertainment, right? If you’re not being entertained because your team isn’t winning, then why are you still following the team?
