Nope, not even close. Not sure why you think this but you do you.

Also why did you drop WSU off your list when I said they were not?
Oregon State and Washington State are both better football programs(brands) than ISU. Washington State had more success under Mike Leach than ISU has had in its ******* history. Both are still winning games. How is ISU doing?

What exactly did you expect when you lose your starting RB, an OL, and QB and replace them with underclassmen?

The team has some talent on offense, but it’s young talent.

I hate people who are only here to spread negativity. I feel sorry if you actually are like that outside of a keyboard. Living live negatively is never healthy. And I won’t associate myself with such people. Life is too short to be surrounded by people who are miserable.

And you realize sports is just an entertainment, right? If you’re not being entertained because your team isn’t winning, then why are you still following the team?

i was very entertained being smoked by a MAC team yesterday

Lol okay pal. Leach was 8 games over .500 at WSU. OSU best season was in 2000, other wise average.

They are both way better than ISU now. Only an ISU fan would think ISU football is better than either one of those. Leach went 9-4, 8-5, 9-4, 11-2, and 6-7 his last 5 years at WSU.

JFC who cares? More people in this country associate winning football with WAZZU and OSU than ISU. End of ******* story. If weren't in the Big 12 already we wouldn't be getting an invite anywhere.

I need to stop this insane conversation.

Historically Washington State especially has been better than ISU. Mike Price and Mike Leach both had success there.

I just told you Leach was average. Price had 1 good year with the rose bowl. I dont know why this is something for you.

Block him, he is an idiot and on his 2nd or 3rd name on here.
Started to block a few people. I think they are hawk fans in disguise. Either that or they live miserable lives. Or both I guess :)

Not everyone is blindly loyal. What good does that do anyway? Message boards have nothing to do with CMC keeping his job. If people quit going to games the AD will have no choice.

this is so beside the fact.

That said, this has nothing to do with Iowa State's issues on or off the field. Iowa State's football program has a lot of potential....I feel like I've said this today 10 times over, but we are in a power conference, we have great facilities and excellent fan support. The only thing (the biggest factor) is putting together a winning product on the filed.

CMC has achieved a lot at Iowa State that our program has never seen, and I think every Cyclone is grateful for that. The only thing we're asking for is change to the offense. I get that that's easier said than done, but in 2017, our defense was totally revamped to combat Big 12 offenses.

The issue is that by the time he makes any of the needed changes the recruiting and just overall momentum of the program will already be in the toilet. I don't think he's a bad coach. I just think he has lost his mojo and his success in Ames is over. You see this happen at places every year. Look at Dantonio at Michigan State. This is a "What have you done for me lately" business.
