Okie State's look solid. Orange makes a great combo with black and not a ton of teams use orange so it's somewhat unique.

I really like OSU's all blacks and I really like their helmets in that pic.

I loved the responses from Hawk fans when people mentioned that they copied from the Steelers.
"They asked for permission so it is okay"
"They were wearing black and gold long before the Steelers" - I should have brought up that the UofI was using a different shade of gold before they copied the Steelers.

Iowa football needs a uniform update so bad. The tigerhawk can obviously stay but their Steeler rip offs are so boring and outdated.
I think it's fitting. Stuck in the 80s for life. Their conservative style is so juxtaposed to the schools liberal reputation. I see Freerentz nose diving the next few years. Recruiting already taking a hit from last year's racism scandal.

The teams that have it in their og color scheme wear it best obviously. But it looks pretty good as an alternate for just about anyone IMO.

I love our black uniforms but man I wish we had just some pop of cardinal in there. Maybe a thin line around the numbers, outlining the collar or on the sleeve, just something that has a little bit of one of our colors, but for obvious reasons we shouldn’t do gold

I love our black uniforms too, but I agree that I'd like to see some cardinal and possibly some gold in them somewhere. Just slap our regular cardinal and gold I-STATE logo on the helmet instead of the all white one.... and to those that say you can't have gold and black together... we already wear this exact helmet I'm talking about with our cardinal jersey and cardinal pants, and most people are fine with that.

I'd also like to see our all black uniform with our white helmet that has the cardinal and gold I-STATE logo on it instead of the all black logo on the white helmet.

Just find some ways to add a little of our true colors on the uniform. Even if it's just making the I-STATE logo at the bottom of the V-neck on the collar and on the side of the hip cardinal and gold instead of white.

Honestly I love the straight black and white. I think it looks great and is a very clean look. I could care less if there were any school colors. Also, from a design perspective isn't black and red kind of a faux pas?

I dunno, I've always kind of liked it for Texas Tech. The Chicago Bulls come to mind as well. Other college teams rock it pretty well too, Cincinnati, San Diego St, Louisville etc

Yeah, you add some red and it's immediately Texas Tech. The all blacks are clean. I do wish that they'd hold them back a little more for 1-2 big games a year. It wouldn't surprise me if they wear them for 3/4 of the home games this year if not all of them. Oh well, keep winning and they can wear whatever they want.
